These opportunities are intended for independent contractors (1099) under a written agreement and are not an offer of employment.

Now Recruiting: Driver Contractors

Independent Contractor (1099)

Service Type: Pre-Arranged For-Hire / Livery (Confirmed Before Pickup)

TOURA™ provides pre-arranged, for-hire transportation. Trips are accepted only through the TOURA™ driver app or dispatch and must be confirmed/assigned before pickup. Drivers do not accept walk-ups, flag-downs, or unbooked curbside requests.

  • No street hails / walk-ups / roadside requests: drivers do not accept unbooked “flag-down” pickups or curbside solicitations.
  • No cruising for fares: drivers do not patrol or roam to search for passengers.
  • Lawful pickup behavior: pickups and drop-offs occur only in permitted locations (curbside or designated pickup areas when available). Do not load/unload passengers in travel lanes, fire lanes, or restricted zones.
  • Private property rules apply: malls, hotels, hospitals, and venues may require designated pickup points—drivers must follow posted signage and property policies.
  • Non-emergency only: TOURA™ is not an ambulance/medical transport provider. For emergencies, call 911. Drivers may provide rides to/from medical appointments and non-emergency hospital drop-offs when booked through the app/dispatch.
Common pickup & drop-off examples (pre-arranged trips only): homes and apartments, hotels and resorts, workplaces/offices, restaurants and retail, bars (where lawful/approved), event venues, marinas, airports (where permitted), malls and shopping centers, retail stores, doctor’s offices and clinics, and non-emergency hospital entrances (no ER/911 service).

Not limited to these locations: other lawful public or private locations requested through the app/dispatch may be served, subject to access, safety, and posted restrictions.
Outdoor destinations & road access: Parks, trailheads, boat launches, viewpoints, and recreation areas are allowed when booked through the app/dispatch. Trips should remain on paved or maintained public roads and standard parking lots.

Short dirt/gravel access OK: short, maintained gravel/dirt access roads used as an entrance/exit to established destinations (and short private dirt/gravel driveways) are acceptable when needed for a lawful pickup/drop-off.
No off-road ventures: TOURA™ does not provide off-road travel, trail driving, or backroad “dirt-road adventures,” and drivers should not accept routes that require extended travel on unimproved roads.
Compliance note: Local rules may restrict certain downtown zones or late-night areas. Drivers must follow all applicable city/county/state rules and any posted restrictions.
Launch markets: Coeur d’Alene (CDA), Post Falls, and the Sandpoint area (including surrounding communities).
Service model:
  • CDA / Post Falls + nearby communities: scheduled coverage windows (staffed by multiple drivers).
  • Sandpoint area + surrounding communities: on-call service through the driver app/dispatch (availability varies by driver; confirmed before pickup).
Coverage boundary: To align with current insurance requirements, service is generally limited to locations within ~100 road miles of CDA.
